Spicy Turkey Burger : 4 Servings
Ingredients
450g/1 lb turkey mince
1 tbsp dark soy sauce
1 -2 tbsp sweet chilli sauce
zest and juice of 1 lemon
2 spring onions, finely chopped
tzatziki (yogurt and cucumber salad), green salad and new potatoes, to serve
Preparation Method
1. Mix the turkey mince, dark soy sauce, sweet chilli sauce, lemon zest and juice, spring onions and plenty of salt and freshly ground black pepper until they are well combined.
2. Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape into burgers.
3. Cook under a preheated hot grill for 8 minutes on each side until cooked through. If you want to barbecue them, cook away from the direct heat of the coals for 6 - 8 minutes, turning frequently until just beginning to char. Serve with the tzatziki, mixed green salad leaves and new potatoes.
