Baked Bluefish : 3 - 4 Servings

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil

  • 1 bluefish, 2 -3 pounds, cleaned and split

  • 1 tsp sesame oil (optional)

  • 2 cloves garlic, finely minced

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • Lemon wedges

  • Parsley sprigs for garnish (optional)

Preparation Method

1. Preheat the oven to 425oF.  Spread the vegetable oil over the surface of a large, shallow baking pan.  Place the bluefish cut-side up in the baking pan and sprinkle the surface uniformly with sesame oil, garlic, and lemon juice.

2. Bake, uncovered, until the flesh flakes with fork (20 - 25 minutes).

3. Serve with lemon wedges.  If desired, garnish with parsley.
